Mobilism workshops by Brian Leroux and Luke Wroblewski

On 12th and 13th of May the Mobilism conference will take place in Amsterdam. There are still some tickets left, although interest is high.

Conferences are all fine and good, but there’s nothing like learning new concepts and techniques at the feet of a world-class teacher in small groups. Therefore, today we announce two workshops for Wednesday 11th of May, the day before the conference:

• Brian Leroux will host HTML5 Mobile Web App Development with PhoneGap. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to combine your HTML/JavaScript skills with PhoneGap to build applications for multiple mobile platforms. It will look at authoring raw JavaScript targetting HTML5 and Device APIs.
• Luke Wroblewksi will host Designing Mobile Web Experiences. This workshop will detail how to think about and design for Web organization, actions, inputs, and layout on mobile. Armed with these design best practices and principles, you can make sure people have a great mobile Web experience whenever they visit your site.

Tickets are a mere €350, and attendance is restricted to 25 people per workshop, ensuring personal contact with the teacher and the other attendees.
